Ingredients
Flour – 2 cups
Grated cheese – 1 cup
Grated boiled potatoes – 3/4 cup
Grated ginger – 1 tsp
Green chilies – 2-3
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Chopped mint leaves – 1 tbsp (optional)
Amchur – 1/2 tsp
Butter/oil – 2-3 tbsp
Salt – to taste
Recipe
First, sift the wheat flour into a mixing bowl or plate. Then, add a little oil and salt and mix well.
Now, add water little by little, kneading the dough. Make sure you add just enough water to make a soft dough.
- After this, apply a little oil to the surface of the dough and cover it with a cloth for 20-25 minutes.
- Now, take a medium-sized mixing bowl and add grated paneer and grated potatoes, and mash them thoroughly.
- Next, add chopped green chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and red chili powder, and mix all the ingredients well.

- Next, add mint leaves and dry mango powder to the masala and season with salt to taste. This way, the paratha masala is ready.
- Now, take the dough and knead it once more. Then, form balls from it. Then, heat a nonstick pan/griddle over medium heat.
- While the griddle is heating, take a ball and roll it out. Once it is shaped like a puri, fill it with the prepared potato stuffing and bring the edges to the center to seal the stuffing.
- Then, shape it into a ball. Now press this ball lightly and roll the paratha into a circular shape.
- After this, pour some oil on the pan, spread it all around, put the paratha on it, and fry it on medium flame. After some time, turn the paratha over and apply oil on it.
- Fry the paratha until it turns golden on both sides. After this, take it out on a plate. Prepare parathas from all the dough balls in the same manner. Serve them with chutney or tomato sauce.
