There are many varieties of this South Indian food, and one of them is the onion dosa. Children relish it. When it comes to breakfast, it's a great option. Ingredients

Semolina (rava) - 1 cup
Finely chopped onions - 3
Chopped ginger - 1/2 piece
Rice flour - 1 cup
Roasted cashews - 3 tsp
Chopped green chilies - 3
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste

Recipe

- First, combine the semolina and rice flour in a deep-bottomed pot. Mix. Then, add a little water to the mixture.
- Then, add the asafoetida, cumin seeds, and salt to taste. Mix. Cover the pot and let it sit in a warm place for 2-3 hours.
- Meanwhile, chop the onion into fine pieces. Then, chop the green chilies, ginger, and cashews.
- After the specified time, take the mixture, form a paste, and add all the chopped ingredients except the onion and mix well.
- Then, add water little by little to make a thin batter. After this, take a non-stick pan/tawa and heat it on a medium flame.
- Once the pan is hot, pour a little oil into it and spread it all around. Now, take the dosa mixture in a bowl and place it in the middle of the pan, and spread it in a circular motion to make a dosa.


- After baking the dosa for some time, sprinkle finely chopped onion and green chilies on it. Then, with the help of a spoon, lightly press the onion on the dosa and fry it for 2-3 minutes.
- After this, add a little oil to the edges and saute it. After some time, turn the dosa over. Cook until the dosa turns golden.
- Then, fold it and place it on a plate. Prepare all the onion dosas in the same manner.
