Muskmelon Kheer: Once you taste it, it will never leave your heart and mind..

Many people like muskmelon very much. This fruit attracts everyone in summer. Everyone is crazy about its sweetness. Its consumption is considered beneficial in terms of health along with taste. Today we are going to tell you about the recipe of muskmelon kheer. Its amazing taste is on everyone's tongue. You must have eaten many types of kheer but you have hardly tasted this. It dissolves as soon as it enters the mouth. Try it once, then you will never be able to remove it from your heart and mind. Whenever you wish to eat something different, then this name will come first in your mind.

Ingredients

1 medium-sized peeled and grated melon

1 liter full cream milk

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

8-10 saffron strands (soaked in 1 teaspoon hot milk)

2-3 teaspoons almonds and pistachios (finely chopped)

1 teaspoon ghee

Method

- First of all, peel and grate the melon. Squeeze it lightly to extract excess juice from the melon.

- After this, heat ghee in a pan, add grated melon, and fry for 5-7 minutes on medium flame.

- Fry the melon until the moisture reduces. After this, keep it aside.

- Now boil the milk in a heavy bottom vessel. After boiling, reduce the flame and cook the milk for about 20-25 minutes till it thickens.

- While doing this, keep stirring the milk in between. When the milk thickens, add roasted melon to the milk, mix well, and cook for 5-7 minutes.

- After this, add sugar, cardamom powder, and soaked saffron to the milk, mix well, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

- Now garnish the kheer by adding finely chopped almonds and pistachios. Your melon kheer is ready. You can serve it hot or cold.
