For this, peanuts, tomatoes, beetroot, carrots, and other things can be mixed. Many types of spices are also used in it. Its taste increases with sweet tamarind chutney and mint-coriander green chutney.

Ingredients

Makhana – 2 cups
Peanuts – 1/2 cup
Onion finely chopped – 1/2 cup
Tomato finely chopped – 1/2 cup
Carrot finely chopped – 1/2 cup
Beetroot finely chopped – 1/2 cup
Green chili chopped – 2
Coriander leaves chopped – 1/4 cup
Red chili powder – 1/4 tsp
Chat masala – 1/2 tsp
Desi ghee – 3-4 tsp
Green chutney – as per requirement
Tamarind chutney – as per requirement
Sev – 1/4 cup
Salt – as per taste

Method

- First of all, put some Desi ghee in a pan and heat it on medium flame. After the ghee melts, add peanuts and fry them.

- When the grains are fried well, take them out in a bowl. Now add makhanas in the pan and fry them too.

- After roasting makhana properly for 5-6 minutes, add red chili powder and salt according to taste, mix, and fry.

- When makhana is fried properly, turn off the gas and take it out in a bowl. Now take onion and tomato and cut them into small pieces.

- After this, chop beetroot and carrot finely. Now take a big mixing bowl and add roasted peanuts and makhana and mix properly.

- After this, add finely chopped onion, tomato, beetroot, and carrot and mix them too. Add chaat masala, green chutney, and sweet tamarind chutney to this mixture and mix.

- Then add chopped coriander leaves and green chilies. Tasty makhana bhel is ready. Take it out in a serving plate and garnish it with green coriander leaves and sev and serve.
