Aloo Bada Recipe
Ingredients:
Potatoes – 4 boiled
Gram flour – 1 cup
Green chilies – 2 finely chopped
Ginger – 1 small piece, grated
Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons
Salt – to taste
Red chili powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric – 1/4 teaspoon
Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon
Oil – for frying
Water – for making the batter
Method:
Prepare the potato stuffing
Mash the boiled potatoes. Add the green chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, salt, red chili, and garam masala, and mix well. Roll into small balls.
Prepare the gram flour batter.
Add salt, turmeric, and a little red chili powder to the gram flour. Add water to form a thick batter so that the potato balls are well coated.

Frying
Heat oil in a pan. Dip the potato balls in the gram flour batter and place them in the hot oil. Fry over medium heat until golden brown.
Serving
Serve the hot potato vada with green chutney or tamarind chutney. If desired, you can also make them vada pav style by placing them between bread slices.
