**Tulsi Leaves:** According to mythological beliefs, Tulsi (holy basil) leaves should not be included in the worship of Lord Ganesha. Therefore, one should never place Tulsi leaves near the idol or in the *Bhog* (offering) meant for Him.

**Leather Items:** Wallets, belts, shoes, slippers, or any item made of leather should not be placed near Lord Ganesha's idol. These items are considered impure in the place of worship. It is believed that such an oversight can displease Lord Ganesha.

**Dustbins or Junk:** Special attention should be paid to cleanliness in the prayer area during the worship of Lord Ganesha. There should be no dustbin, broom, or any form of filth near the Lord's idol. Keeping such items nearby is believed to lead to financial difficulties.

**Negative or Violent Images:** No images depicting negativity or violence should be displayed near Lord Ganesha's idol. Such images radiate negative energy and lead to inauspicious outcomes. Moreover, they can also disrupt the peace of the home.
