The trailer for the film *Hunkkar: The Roar*, starring Aneet Padda and Fatima Sana Shaikh, has been released. The trailer depicts Aneet (playing the character Meenu Rawat) raising her voice against a 'Baapji' who has exploited her.

The drama also features Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Arjun Mathur, Raghubir Yadav, and Ram Kapoor in key roles.

What is the film's story?
The trailer opens with Meenu Mathur visiting a police station to file a complaint of abuse against an influential spiritual guru known as Baapji (Raghubir Yadav). Baapji is revered as a god-like figure by everyone, and initially, no one believes her claims. As often happens with victims in such cases, the show depicts how Meenu's own character is called into question.

Even her father questions her intentions because she does not conform to the expected behavior of a victim.

Threats from Baapji's family
Meanwhile, ACP Jasleen Singh Soni (Fatima Sana Shaikh) attempts to get to the bottom of the allegations and challenges Baapji. She, too, faces intimidation and threats from Baapji's family and his circle of influence.

Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub plays Meenu's lawyer, while Ram Kapoor presents arguments on behalf of Baapji. Arjun Mathur plays the role of a television journalist investigating the allegations.

It is worth noting that Aneet Padda had already filmed the web show *Hunkkar* prior to her acclaimed performance in *Saiyara*. The show is directed by Karan D. Kapadia, Nitya Mehra, and Hiraz Marfatia, and is produced by Karan D. Kapadia and Nitya Mehra. The film is set to release on Jio Hotstar on September 25.
