His condition worsened during treatment, and doctors placed him on ventilator support. Later, he was discharged from the hospital and taken home, where his treatment continued under the supervision of his family and a medical team. Some improvement was seen in his health, but he breathed his last on November 24 at the age of 89. Dharmendra's last film, 'Ekkiis', is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 25.
