Vegetable Daliya Recipe: Everyone has consumed a lot of different types of dishes during Holi. Due to this, many people are suffering from stomach-related problems. This is the reason why nowadays people are consuming light dishes and food.
Due to this, today we are going to tell you about a dish which you can consume even at night. Here we are talking about vegetable daliya. Vegetable daliya is delicious to eat and it is also very good for the stomach. So let us tell you the easy way to make it.

Ingredients for making vegetable porridge
1 cup porridge (wheat)
1 tsp ghee
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 onion (finely chopped)
1 tomato (finely chopped)
1 carrot (chopped)
1/2 cup peas
1/2 cup capsicum (chopped)
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp salt (according to taste)
1/2 tsp red chili powder
Coriander leaves (for garnish)
Method
To make porridge, first of all, put 1 tsp ghee in a pan and add porridge to it, and fry it till it becomes light golden. This will make the porridge more tasty and aromatic. When it is fried well, take it out in a plate and keep it aside.
Now it is time to add the tadka. To add the tadka, add some more ghee in the same pan, then add cumin seeds and fry lightly. After this, add chopped onion and fry till it turns light pink.

Add tomatoes, carrots, peas, capsicum and stir for 2-3 minutes. Add turmeric, salt, and red chili powder and mix. Now add roasted daliya add three cups of water and mix well.
Now cover it and let it cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes, until the daliya becomes soft and the water dries up completely. Keep stirring with a spoon in between so that the daliya does not stick to the bottom. Turn off the gas and garnish with green coriander leaves.
