Vaani Kapoor is in the news these days for her upcoming series 'Mandala Murders', which is going to stream on OTT soon. During its promotion, the actress is being questioned about the controversies of her previous film 'Abir Gulaal', in which she worked with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. However, the film was not released due to a lot of protests after the Pahalgam attack, and there was also a demand for a boycott of the actors. Now Vaani Kapoor has expressed her views about the boycott and censorship effects.

Vaani Kapoor is against censorship.
Recently, Vaani Kapoor was asked during an interview with PTI how the incident in her last film affected her. In response to this, she said, 'I am not in favor of censorship. I believe that you can give certificates, but sometimes it happens that there is no limit. Many times when I hear censorship, I think they can remove anyone and anything.'
You have to innovate within a limited range.
Further in the conversation, the actress said, 'I don't know how much you are willing to move forward in a new area as an artist, a filmmaker, because then you are in control. Then a limit is set for you, then you have to do something new, fresh, exciting, and never seen before within that limit.'
Talked about stopping boycott culture
Talking further about censorship, Vaani Kapoor said that she does not understand the culture of boycott and ban at all. The actress said that people are being very harsh with each other. She said, 'Boycott this today, cancel this today, don't do it yaar, give space and let people live.'
What was the whole matter?
Let us tell you that actress Vaani Kapoor's last film was 'Abir Gulaal', which was not released. In this film, the actress worked with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.
