Urad Dal Snacks Recipes: Be it summer or winter, there is always a craving to eat something different. Fried food is digested in winter, but it is very difficult in summer. This is the reason why people prefer to eat less fried food and snacks this season.
This is why today we are going to tell you how to make a less fried snack from urad dal. Here we will tell you an easy way to make tikki from urad dal in less oil, so that you can feed yourself as well as your family and friends.

Urad dal – 1 cup
Onion – 1 finely chopped
Green chilli – 1-2 finely chopped
Ginger – 1 teaspoon
Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons
Salt – according to taste
Red chilli powder – ½ teaspoon
Cumin seeds – ½ teaspoon
Chat masala – ½ teaspoon
Oil – 2-3 tablespoons

Method
To make tikki from urad dal, first of all, you have to soak the dal for at least 4-5 hours. When the dal swells after soaking, grind the soaked urad dal coarsely without water or with very little water. Grind it in the same way as you grind it to make fine vada.
When the dal is ground, add finely chopped onion, finely chopped green chilli, grated ginger, salt, red chilli powder, cumin seeds, chaat masala, and mix everything well. After mixing, take it little by little and prepare tikki.
When the tikki is ready, now it is time to fry it, so to fry it, first of all, take some oil in a pan and put the tikkis one by one. Now fry these tikkis till they become crispy and golden.
While serving, put some chaat masala and lemon juice on top of the tikki; it will increase the taste. Now it is ready and you can serve it with green coriander-mint and tamarind chutney.
