Sweet Corner: Instead of sugar, use the sweetness of dates; try these delicious almond-date brownies this winter..

During the winter season, we often crave something sweet. In such cases, you can prepare some desserts at home that can help satisfy your sweet cravings. One such dessert is Almond-Date Brownies, made with almonds and dates.

It's not only delicious but, thanks to the almonds and dates, it's also a perfect dessert for the winter season. Let's learn the recipe for Almond-Date Brownies.

Ingredients
Dates - 350 grams (pitted)
Almond flour - 75 grams
Coconut oil - 75 grams
Cocoa powder - 50 grams
Eggs - 4
Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
Baking soda - ½ teaspoon
For garnish - Chopped almonds

Instructions
First, preheat the oven to 175°C and prepare a square baking tin by lining it with parchment paper.

Now, put the dates, coconut oil, and cocoa powder in a blender and blend all the ingredients well until they becomes a thick and smooth paste.

Next, while the blender is running, add the eggs one by one to the mixture.

After adding each egg, make sure it is well incorporated into the mixture. The mixture will now become slightly thinner.

Now, in a separate bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Transfer the wet mixture of dates and eggs to a large mixing bowl.

Gradually add the prepared dry flour mixture to it. Use a spatula to gently mix it. You don't need to mix it too vigorously.

Pour the prepared brownie batter into the baking tin and smooth the top.

If you want to garnish with almonds, sprinkle chopped almonds or almond flakes on top. Bake in a preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes.

To check if the brownies are done, insert a toothpick into the center; if it comes out clean, the brownies are ready.

After removing the brownies from the oven, let them cool completely in the pan. Cutting warm brownies can cause them to crumble. Once cooled, cut them into squares and serve.
