If you do not want to compromise on taste and health, then there are many such dishes. One of them is sprouts dhokla. Dhokla is a famous food of Gujarat. Most people must have tasted it, but very few people would have tried sprouts dhokla. Sprouts are rich in nutrients. It is advisable to include them in the daily diet. Sprouts help in strengthening the immune system. Sometimes eating only sprouts makes one feel bored. In such a situation, you can make some changes by making sprouts dhokla. Today, we are going to tell you the recipe. It is a hit as a breakfast.

Ingredients
Moong sprouts – 1 cup
Spinach – 1/2 cup
Grated carrot – 1/4 cup
Gram flour – 1 tablespoon
Ginger-green chilli paste – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric – 1/4 teaspoon
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Baking soda – 1 pinch
Mustard seeds – 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
White sesame seeds
Curry leaves – 7-8
Oil
Method
- First of all, take moong sprouts and grind them coarsely with the help of a mixer. Now prepare a thick batter by adding grated carrot, ginger, and chilli paste along with other ingredients.
- If needed, you can also add a little water. Now add baking soda to this batter and mix it well.
- Now take a plate or tray and grease its bottom with oil. Spread the prepared mixture evenly all around.
- Now put this mixture in the steamer for steaming for about 15 minutes. When the dhokla is steamed, take it out and keep it aside to cool down a bit.
- After this, cut the dhokla into the desired shape with the help of a knife. Now, to add tempering to the dhokla, take a pan and heat it by adding oil to it.

- When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds, curry leaves, and sesame seeds to it. When the cumin seeds and sesame seeds start crackling, add a little water to it.
- If you want, you can also mix a little sugar in it. Now pour this tempering slowly over the dhokla.
- In this way, sprouts dhokla is ready. You can also garnish it with green coriander leaves before serving.
