Generally, khichdi made from sabudana is quite popular in our homes. However, eating the same thing again and again makes one feel bored. However, many other tasty things can be prepared from sabudana. One of them is sabudana Manchurian. This is a dish that is a great combination of traditional and Chinese flavors. It not only looks attractive but also tastes amazing. The special thing is that it can be eaten even during fasting. If you want to enjoy it as a party or evening snack, then this can be done by giving it a little twist. It is considered a healthy and tasty dish. It also requires less oil and remains crispy for a long time.

Ingredients
For balls
Sabudana – 1 cup (soaked overnight)
Boiled potatoes – 2 medium-sized
Peanuts – 2 tbsp (roasted and coarsely ground)
Green chilies – 2 (finely chopped)
Ginger – 1 inch (grated)
Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Ararot/Rajgira flour – 2 tbsp (for binding)
Rock salt – to taste
Oil – for frying
For sauce
Ghee/oil – 2 tbsp
Ginger – 1 tsp (grated)
Green chili – 1 (long chopped)
Capsicum – 1/2 cup (thinly sliced)
Tomato puree – 1/2 cup
Vinegar – 1/2 tsp
Soya sauce – 1 tsp
Rock salt – to taste
Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Green Coriander - for decoration
Method
- First of all, strain the soaked sago in a sieve and drain the water completely.
- Now add boiled potatoes, peanuts, green chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, rock salt, and arrowroot.
- Mix everything well and make small balls. Now heat oil in a pan and fry these balls till they become golden and crispy.
- Take out the prepared balls on tissue paper. Heat ghee or oil in a pan.

- Add ginger and green chilies and fry lightly. Then add capsicum and cook for 1-2 minutes so that its crunch remains.
- Now add tomato puree and add rock salt and black pepper to it. If you are not fasting, you can also add soy sauce and vinegar.
- Cook this sauce for 3-4 minutes till it becomes a little thick.
- Now add the fried balls to the sauce and mix gently. Garnish with green coriander on top.
