These days, a different kind of craze is seen about South Indian food. People like it a lot, and it has become a part of every household. Today, we are talking about Rice Appe. It is famous as a street food. It is tasty as well as light in digestion. Due to these reasons, it is given priority in breakfast. It is very easy to make. If you do not have much time in the morning, then you can try this dish. It can be enjoyed as a snack during the day. It is very popular among children as well as adults. This means that it will get a green signal from every member of the house. You can avoid any kind of difficulty by following the recipe given by us.

Ingredients
Rice flour – 1 cup
Semolina – 2 tbsp
Curd – 3/4 cup
Onion chopped – 1
Tomato, finely chopped – 1
Carrot chopped – 1
Capsicum chopped – 1
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Green chilli chopped – 2
Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Oil – as per requirement
Salt – as per taste
Method
- Take rice flour in a mixing bowl and mix semolina in it. Now add curd and a pinch of salt to this mixture and mix.
- Now keep the mixture aside for 30 minutes. After the stipulated time, take the mixture and after beating it, add finely chopped tomato, capsicum, onion and carrot and mix it.
- After mixing, add chaat masala, green chilli, and coriander leaves to this mixture. After mixing all the ingredients well, add baking soda and lemon juice to the mixture.
- Now beat the solution well. The batter for rice appe is ready. Now take the pot to make appe and grease it with oil.

- After this, pour the apple batter into each compartment and place the pot on the gas on a low flame. Let the appe cook for some time.
- Keep in mind that the apples has to be cooked until they become golden from all sides. When the appe become golden, turn off the gas and gently remove them from the pot and place them on a plate.
- Your delicious rice appe are ready. You can serve them with tomato sauce or green chutney.
