Ingredients

Raw bananas - 3-4 (peeled and cut into thick pieces)

Onion - 1 finely chopped

Tomatoes - 2 finely chopped

Green chillies - 2 finely chopped

Ginger - 1-inch piece grated

Asafoetida - a pinch

Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon

Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon as per taste

Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon

Coriander leaves - finely chopped.

Oil - 2-3 tablespoons

Salt - as per taste

Method

- First of all, boil the raw bananas. For this, heat water in a pan add raw banana pieces, and boil for 5-7 minutes.

- Now heat oil in a pan and add asafoetida to it. Then add onion, ginger and green chillies and fry till golden.

- Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder and garam masala and mix well.
- After the spices are roasted well, add chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook. Cook the tomatoes until they become soft.

- After this, add boiled bananas to the pan and mix well. Then add some water, cover and let the vegetable cook for 5-7 minutes.

- Keep stirring the vegetable in between. Finally add green coriander leaves and salt as per taste and mix. After this, turn off the gas. Raw banana vegetable is ready.
