Quick Veg Recipe: If you have to leave for work early in the morning and don't have much time in the kitchen, then opt for a quick recipe. Some recipes are a boon for office-going women. Furthermore, this is an easy-to-prepare dish for bachelors living away from home in a PG or a room. It doesn't require many vegetables or spices. Nevertheless, this dish tastes delicious and tastes delicious with roti or hot parathas. Here, we're sharing a quick and minimally prepared recipe for boondi or sev. Its specialty is that it's ready in minutes. It's tiffin-friendly and doesn't require many ingredients.

Ingredients for Boondi/Sev Sabzi
One cup of boondi or sev
One teaspoon of oil
Half a teaspoon of cumin or mustard seeds
A pinch of asafoetida
Half a teaspoon of turmeric
Half a teaspoon of red chili powder
Half a teaspoon of coriander powder
Salt to taste
One cup of water
A few green coriander leaves for garnish
How to Make the Sabzi in 5 Minutes
Step 1 - First, prepare the tempering. Heat oil in a pan and lightly fry the cumin or mustard seeds. Add asafoetida and turmeric.
Step 2 - Add red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt, and lightly fry.
Step 3 - If you want a thicker gravy, you can add tomato puree or a finely chopped tomato and fry.
Step 4 - When the masala starts to release a little oil, add one cup of water and bring to a boil.
Step 5 - Reduce the heat to low, add the boondi, and cook for a minute until the boondi softens.
Step 6- If you are adding corn or gram flour sev, then add it after turning off the gas, as it melts quickly.
Step 7- Garnish with coriander and serve the vegetable hot.

Keep in mind that sev and boondi become soft quickly, so add them to the gravy only if you want to eat it immediately. Otherwise, after preparing the gravy, when you want to eat it, add boondi and sev and cover it for a minute. You can eat it immediately with roti, paratha, or dal-rice. It is also a great option for an office lunch box, neither too wet nor too dry.
