Ingredients
2 cups puffed rice
Half a cup of semolina
Half a cup of curd
2-3 chopped green chillies
Quarter teaspoon of baking soda
Salt to taste
Oil as per the requirement
Half a teaspoon of cumin seeds
Half a teaspoon of white sesame seeds
Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder
One teaspoon of curry leaves
Half a teaspoon of mustard seeds
Half a teaspoon of garlic paste
One medium-sized finely chopped onion
One medium-sized tomato
Half a teaspoon of pav bhaji masala
Half a teaspoon of red chilli powder
Half a teaspoon of dry mango powder
One teaspoon chopped coriander leaves
Juice of half a lemon
Method
- First of all, wash the puffed rice with water and squeeze it well. Then keep it like this for some time.
- After this, mash the soaked puffed rice well. Then mix the semolina and curd in it.
- Also add half a teaspoon of green chillies, baking soda, one tablespoon of oil, and salt as per taste.
- Then prepare the dough by mixing all these things well, and keep it aside for some time to set.
- Now make small balls from this mixture. Then heat water in a pan and cover it with a sieve.
- After this, keep all the balls on this sieve and cover it with a lid, and cook it in steam for some time.
- Now heat one spoon of oil in a pan. Then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, some green chillies, curry leaves, and garlic paste, and fry for a minute.

- Then add the onion and fry it too. After this, add tomatoes and turmeric, red chilli, mango powder, pav bhaji powder and a little salt and fry for some time.
- Now put all the balls in this masala and fry for some time and turn off the gas. Then add green coriander and lemon juice to it.
