Cumin powder – ½ teaspoon
Saunth powder (dry ginger) – ¼ teaspoon
Water – 1.5 to 2 cups

Method

- First of all, soak the dried plums in hot water for 1 to 2 hours so that they swell well and become soft.

- Put the soaked plums in a pan and start cooking on medium flame on the gas.

- Cook the chutney till it thickens a little. Keep in mind that it thickens more after cooling.

- Now turn off the gas. Let the chutney cool down and then fill it in a glass bottle or box and keep it in the fridge.
