Parenting: What to do if your newborn doesn't burp? How long should you burp your baby? know..

How to Make Your Kid Burp: Becoming a new parent is as wonderful an experience as it is a learning experience. Especially when it comes to feeding and then burping your baby. Babies often cry after feeding, develop gas, or feel uncomfortable. The most common cause of this is trapped air. In such a situation, proper burping (what is the right way to burp your baby) is crucial. Fortunately, there are some easy and reliable techniques that any new parent can learn without panicking. Dr. Arpit Gupta shared his newborn burping technique on Instagram.

The Right Way of Burping
1. The Shoulder Burping Technique
Burping your baby after feeding is considered the most traditional and reliable method.

• Place your baby on your shoulder so that their chin rests on your shoulder.

• Support his hips with one hand to keep him steady.

• With the other hand, gently tap or rub his back from top to bottom.

• Be sure to tap gently, as a newborn's bones are very soft.

This position creates gentle pressure on the baby's stomach, allowing air to easily escape, and the baby feels instantly relaxed. Many experts consider this to be the most effective, even after nighttime feedings.

2. The Burping Technique
If the baby is less active or waking up after a daytime feeding, this method is very effective.
