Parenting Tips: The doctor gave a great solution to make the child sleep all night..

Tips to Help Baby Sleep Longer: A newborn's sleep is a major challenge for every new parent. Young children frequently wake up, cry, and struggle to sleep properly. This can tire not only the child but also the parents. But there's no need to panic. By adopting some simple and effective tips, you can make your and your baby's nights comfortable and long. Renowned parenting expert and pediatrician Dr. Puneet Anand shared on social media how to improve your baby's sleep cycle. Here are some tips:

Light during the day, dim light at night
A baby's body relies on circadian rhythms to understand day and night. In the morning, expose the baby to light, open the curtains, and engage in soft conversation or play with soft noise. This helps the baby's body understand the difference between day and night. Dim the lights in the room at night and keep your speech low. This signals that it's time to sleep, and babies calm down and fall asleep quickly.

Baby's Comfort with Your Scent
A mother's scent is very comforting for newborns. Place a clean cloth that you've worn or touched near the baby (be careful not to place it on their face). Your scent helps the baby feel you're nearby. This makes the baby feel safe and sleep longer.

Early Morning Feed
Babies often wake up just before sunrise. If you feed them 20–30 minutes earlier in the morning, many babies sleep for longer periods without crying. This also balances their biological clock and reduces early morning awakenings.

Consistent Scent Signals Sleep
Use a consistent scent at night—like a few drops of lavender water on your pillow or in your daily moisturizer. Babies gradually associate this scent with sleep. As soon as they smell the scent, their brain will prepare for sleep.

Don't look into the eyes; a light touch is enough.
When putting your baby to sleep, avoid looking directly into the eyes and avoid excessive conversation. A mother's or father's face is the most stimulating feeling for a newborn. Simply place a light hand on their chest. This touch makes the baby feel secure and helps them fall asleep faster.

Establish a routine.
Try to keep your baby's sleep and mealtimes consistent. Develop a habit of feeding and putting them to sleep at the same time consistently. This helps your baby quickly understand when it's time to sleep and when it's time to play.

Create a quiet environment.
Keep noise levels low in the baby's room at night. Avoid mobile phones, TVs, or loud devices. A quiet environment promotes deeper and longer sleep for your baby.
If you keep these things in mind, your baby will gradually sleep soundly throughout the night, and you too will be able to relieve your fatigue at night.
