Many types of things are made from oats. Many people leave home after cooking oats in milk or eating salty oats for breakfast. If you want to try a different recipe, you can rely on oats upma. Usually, upma is prepared with semolina, but this time try making it with oats. Oats contain a lot of nutrients, which are beneficial for health. It also contains a lot of fiber, which keeps the stomach clean along with controlling weight. This dish can be prepared by adding various vegetables. Serve it to everyone in a bowl and give it to eat. It also meets the taste standards. You can also give it to children in lunch boxes. No matter how much you eat it, it is an easily digestible breakfast.

Ingredients
Oats - 1 cup
Urad dal - 1 teaspoon
Mustard - half teaspoon
Whole cumin seeds - half teaspoon
Curry leaves - 4-5
Ginger - one piece chopped
Green chili - 2 chopped
Onion - 1 chopped
Carrot - 1 chopped
Beans - 4-5 chopped
Capsicum - 1 chopped
Peas - 2 tablespoons
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder - half teaspoon
Red chili powder - half teaspoon
Salt - according to taste
Coriander leaves - finely chopped
Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Water - as per requirement
Recipe
- To make this, you can take rolled or instant oats. First, you have to put the rolled oats in a pan and fry it for 1-2 minutes.
- Instant oats can be used directly. First of all, put a pan on the gas stove, and add oil to it. Now add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, and cumin seeds and fry them.

- After frying for a few seconds, add chopped green chilies, chopped ginger, and onions. Fry it till it becomes golden brown.
- Now add all the chopped vegetables like capsicum, beans, carrots, and peas, and cook for one to two minutes. Add salt, turmeric and chili powder as per taste.
- After a minute, add water as per taste and let it cook. When the water starts boiling, add oats to it and let it cook till all the water dries up.
- Taste the salt, if it is less then add some more. Add lemon juice, chopped coriander leaves and mix. Oats Upma is ready
