Flour made from a mixture of multiple grains is extremely beneficial for health. Multigrain flour can be used to make many delicious dishes, including the delicious cheela made from it. It's not only delicious but also helps prevent many health ailments. The fiber content in it helps improve digestion. Eating it maintains energy throughout the day. Ingredients
Jowar flour – 1/4 cup
Wheat flour – 1/4 cup
Ragi – 1/4 cup
Finely chopped onion – 1/4 cup
Finely chopped tomato – 1/4 cup
Chopped coriander – 2 tablespoons
Green chili paste – 1/4 teaspoon
Cumin powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric – 1/4 teaspoon
Red chili powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Oil – as needed
Salt – to taste
Recipe
- First, combine the jowar flour, wheat flour, and ragi flour in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Next, finely chop the onion, tomato, and coriander leaves. Add these to the flour mixture one by one and mix.
- Now, add the green chili paste, red chili powder, cumin powder, and turmeric to the mixture and mix. Now, add one and a quarter cups of water to the mixture and stir to form a batter.

- Now heat a non-stick pan/tawa on medium flame. Once the pan is hot, add a little oil and spread it evenly.
- Next, take a bowl of batter and pour it into the center of the pan, spreading it in a circular motion using the bowl.
- After frying the cheela for a while, pour oil all around it little by little, then turn it over and fry the other side.
- Now apply a little oil to the other side of the cheela and fry it. Fry the cheela on both sides until they turn golden brown.
- Then, transfer the cheela to a plate. Similarly, prepare multigrain cheelas from the entire batter. Serve them with chutney or sauce.
