Monsoon Special: The craze of sizzler is increasing with time, the fun of eating it is different in the rainy season..

Food is tasted with the eyes before it enters the mouth. In this case, sizzler is a dish that opens up all the senses. The smoke rising from the vegetables arranged on the iron plate is tempting, while the aroma of vegetables continuously cooking in butter, the crackling and sizzling sound of the vegetables makes the mouth water, and also attracts the attention of the people around.

When such a spicy, hot dish comes to the table in the rainy season, it increases the appetite even more. From the perspective of fine dining, Sizzler has now evolved into a great experience, which is identified with great presentation, the best ingredients, and advanced techniques.

Something new is being liked.

Sizzlers are now being prepared beyond the classic form with global flavors and artistic plating. Chefs are now incorporating modern cooking techniques like sous-vide (cooking for a long time at low temperature in a glass or plastic jar), gourmet reduction, and smoke infusion.

In the luxury dining landscape across India, sizzlers are now not just about heat and sound but also a balance of creativity and taste. People are health-conscious but also want great taste, so seasonal vegetables, exotic sauces, and plant-based proteins are being included in sizzlers. On the other hand, in the case of fusion, Asian-inspired teriyaki sizzlers, Mediterranean platters made with olive oil and herbs are very popular.

Fire in the monsoon

The saying goes that 'when it drizzles, it sizzles', that is, as soon as it rains, it is time to eat something hot. In these rains, the vegetables and other ingredients cooking on the sizzler plate double the fun of this season. Its mild heat, a unique blend of spicy flavors, crackling sound, rising steam, and captivating aroma create a sensory experience that matches beautifully with the rainy season.

A dish served on a hot Sizzler plate satisfies both hunger and the mind. The sight of the hot plate arriving on the table, the beautiful garnishing, and the stylish plating create an interactive experience, transforming dining into a truly memorable moment with its multisensory appeal for guests even before they take the first bite.

Sizzler Companions

Sizzler is complete in itself, yet when it comes to the side dishes that go with it, noodles and fried rice are common in the Chinese platter, and varieties of pasta in the Italian platter, with side dishes like quinoa, couscous, and truffle mash replacing the traditional fries and rice. Drinks with Sizzler include red wine, sangria or spicy tea. Herbal infusions and citrus-based mocktails are also popular choices.
