Mixed Pickle Recipe: The taste of food and drinks is enhanced manifold during the winter season because a wide variety of fresh green vegetables becomes available in the market. A special feature of this season is that radishes are particularly sweet and delicious.

Because of this, radishes are not only eaten as a salad during this season, but they are also used to make parathas (flatbreads). Besides parathas, there's another dish that uses radishes: radish pickle, which is made by mixing it with cauliflower, chilies, and carrots. This pickle ripens with just a little sunlight.
While this mixed pickle is readily available in the market at very low prices, making it at home will give you a much better taste. So, if you also want to enhance the flavor of your meals this winter, be sure to try this easy mixed pickle recipe.
Ingredients for making Mixed Pickle:
Carrots – 500 grams
Radish – 500 grams
Cauliflower – 1 medium
Green chilies – 10-12
Mustard oil – 250 ml
Mustard seeds – 3 tablespoons
Fennel seeds – 2 tablespoons
Turmeric powder – 1 tablespoon
Red chili powder – to taste
Salt – to taste
Vinegar or lemon juice – 2 tablespoons

Instructions:
If you are planning to make a mixed pickle, first wash all the vegetables thoroughly and dry them completely. Cut them into your desired shapes. Heat mustard oil in a pan, and once it cools, add all the spices. Now add the chopped vegetables, salt, and vinegar. Mix well and transfer to a glass jar. Keep the jar in the sun for 4-5 days, stirring it daily. After 4-5 days, the taste will change and become slightly tangy. And that's it! This delicious mixed pickle, made with this easy method, is ready.
