Milk Cake Recipe: It is the month of Sawan. This month, every Monday, Lord Shiva is worshipped, and fasting is observed. Now the festival season is also about to come. One thing is necessary in all these festivals like Nag Panchami, Hariyali Teej, and Raksha Bandhan, that is, sweets. Every time you bring sweets from the market to the festival, try making sweets at home. With an easy recipe, you can make such sweets, which will taste like the market, but the sweets made at home will be the best in terms of purity.

You can easily make milk cake at home with just milk, which is also called Kalakand in many places. Milk cake is one of the most favorite sweets in India. Because the demand for Kalakand or milk cake increases during festivals, it can be easily made at home with less cost and less effort. In such a situation, if you want to get the taste of the market at home, then an easy milk cake recipe is given for you.
Ingredients to make milk cake
Full cream milk 2 liters, lemon juice or vinegar two teaspoons, ghee two teaspoons, one cup sugar, half teaspoon cardamom powder, cashews and almonds for decoration
Method to make milk cake at home
Step 1- In the first step, the milk is boiled and curdled. For this, first of all, boil the milk in a heavy-bottomed pan. When the milk starts boiling, add lemon juice little by little and keep stirring continuously. This will curdle the milk. When the milk curdles and the chenna and water separate, turn off the gas.
Step 2- Now, make chenna from curdled milk. For this, filter the chenna in a muslin cloth and wash it by adding a little water so that the taste of lemon goes away. Tie it in a cloth and hang it for 10 minutes so that all the water drains out.
Step 3- To make sweets from chenna, now put ghee in a pan and add chenna and fry it on low flame. Add sugar slowly to it and cook till the mixture becomes light golden and thick. Then add cardamom powder and mix well.

Step 4- To set the sweet, grease a tray or plate with ghee and pour the mixture into it. Press lightly with a spoon to make it even and add dry fruits on top. Let it cool for at least four to five hours, then cut it into desired shapes.
