In summer, juicy and sweet mangoes add to the beauty of the market. Mangoes are not only amazing in taste but are also rich in many types of nutrients. Everyone from children to adults likes mangoes so much that they would not mind if they got it every day. Mango can be eaten directly, but it is possible that one may start feeling bored with it. In such a situation, many dishes are also prepared from mango, which have the power to win everyone's heart. One such sweet dish is Mango Malai Barfi. It melts as soon as it enters the mouth. The person who tastes it once demands to eat it again and again. In this season, you too should enjoy it to the fullest. It can be prepared easily.

Ingredients
2 cups mango pulp
1 cup grated mawa
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk powder
1/4 cup ghee
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
8-10 saffron threads (soaked in milk)
10-12 chopped almonds and pistachios (for decoration)
Recipe
- First of all, peel the ripe mango and take out its pulp. Now grind this pulp in a blender filter its puree through a sieve and keep it aside.
- Now heat 2 tablespoons ghee in a non-stick pan add mawa to it and fry it on a medium flame for 4-5 minutes, until the mawa becomes light golden.
- After this, add mango pulp and sugar to the roasted mawa and keep stirring the mixture continuously so that the mixture does not stick to the pan. Cook the mixture for 5-7 minutes.

- When you feel that the mixture is thickening, add milk powder, cardamom powder, and soaked saffron strands to it.
- Mix all these things well and cook the mixture until it becomes a thick, sticky mixture.
- If needed at this time, you can add some more ghee. Now to set the barfi, apply ghee on a tray or plate and spread the mixture evenly.
- After this, sprinkle chopped almonds and pistachios on top of the mixture. Let it set for 2-3 hours at normal temperature or in the fridge.
- When the barfi is set, cut it into square or diamond shapes. Serve it cold or at room temperature.
