Ingredients required to make mango halwa

Two cups of ripe mango pulp

Half a cup of semolina

Four tablespoons of ghee

Half a cup of sugar

Half a teaspoon of cardamom powder

One cup of milk

Half a cup of water

Saffron and cashews, almonds chopped.

Method of making mango halwa

Step 1- Heat a pan and add two teaspoons of ghee to it

Step 2- Now add semolina to it and fry it on low flame till it turns golden.

Step 3- When the semolina starts giving fragrance, then add milk and water to it.

Step 4- Keep stirring it well so that lumps do not form.

Step 5- When the semolina is cooked a little, then add mango pulp and sugar to it.

Step 6- Now cook it by stirring continuously till the halwa thickens.

Step 7- Finally add the remaining ghee and cardamom powder and mix.

Step 8- When the halwa does not stick to the pan and starts separating, turn off the gas.

Step 9- Add chopped dry fruits on top and serve hot.
