If you do not want to eat jamun directly, then you can also drink it by making its sherbet. It will win everyone's heart due to its wonderful taste. Ingredients
500 grams of jamun
2 liters of water
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/2 tablespoon roasted cumin
1/4 cup lemon juice
Salt to taste
Black salt to taste
Ice cubes as needed
A handful of mint leaves
Recipe
- First of all, wash the jamun thoroughly and boil it with water in a pan.
- After this, reduce the flame of the gas and add salt, black salt, cumin powder, black pepper powder, and sugar to the water.
- Boil this water until the seeds of the jamun start leaving the pulp.
- After this, turn off the gas and let the water cool.
- Now, with the help of a potato masher, mash the jamun in the pan itself, and after filtering it, filter its juice and separate it.
- Keep in mind that while making jamun juice, the seed should not be grinded otherwise it will become bitter.
- After this, add a little lemon juice to this juice.
- Check the salt and sugar in this juice according to your taste.
- After this, garnish the glass of juice with some ice cubes and mint leaves and serve.
