Ingredients for Gulab Shrikhand
Yogurt (thick): 2 cups
Sugar powder: 1/2 cup (to your taste)
Rose water: 1 teaspoon
Fresh rose petals: 1/4 cup
Cardamom powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Almonds and pistachios: finely chopped (for garnishing)
Method for making Gulab Shrikhand
First, put the curd in a clean muslin cloth and tie it. Hang it in a high place or place it over a sieve and leave it for 2-3 hours to drain all the water. This is called 'hung curd'.
Now, transfer the hung curd to a large bowl. Add the powdered sugar and cardamom powder and mix well until smooth.
Next, add the rose water and fresh rose petals and mix gently.
Now, refrigerate this Shrikhand for at least 1 hour to cool and become delicious.

Once cooled, transfer it to bowls and serve garnished with finely chopped almonds and pistachios.
