Ingredients

Dates – 1 cup
Raisins – 2 tbsp
Ginger paste – 2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Black salt – 3/4 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Sugar – 1/2 cup (according to taste)
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Dry mango powder – 2 tsp
Salt – according to taste

Recipe

- First of all, remove the seeds of dates and then cut them into small pieces.

- After this, put half a cup of water and sugar in a pan and put it on the gas on medium flame to make syrup.

- Cook it till the sugar and water become uniform.

- When the syrup is ready, add chopped dates to it and mix them well.

- After adding dates to the syrup, add raisins, ginger paste, red chili powder, and garam masala and mix with the help of a spoon.

- After mixing these spices, add cumin powder, black salt, asafoetida, and other ingredients and finally add salt and mix.

- Now let the chutney cook on medium flame for 3-4 minutes. During this, keep stirring the date chutney with the help of a spoon in between.

- When the chutney is completely cooked, turn off the gas. Date chutney is ready. Serve it with food.
