Ingredients:

2-3 large onions (cut into slices)

1/2 cup fresh cream

2 tomato puree

1/2 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon garam masala

1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

Salt to taste

Oil or ghee

Finely chopped coriander leaves (for garnishing)

Method:

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds to it. When the cumin seeds start crackling, add chopped onions and fry till light golden.

Now add ginger-garlic paste and fry for another minute.

After this, add tomato puree and all the dry spices (turmeric, coriander, garam masala) and mix well. Fry the spices till the oil starts separating.

Now add salt and cream and mix well. Make sure the flame is low so that the cream does not curdle.

After adding cream, cook it on a low flame for 2-3 minutes, till the gravy thickens.

Finally, turn off the gas and serve hot, garnished with finely chopped coriander leaves.
