Delicious, healthy, and quick to make, gram flour cheela is the perfect option for a breakfast or evening snack. It's not only delicious in taste, but also takes very little time to prepare. Let's learn this easy recipe for gram flour cheela.

Servings: 2
Ingredients:
Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
Gram flour - 1 cup
Tomato - 1 (finely chopped)
Green chilies - 1-2 (finely chopped)
Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons (chopped)
Ginger - 1/2 teaspoon (grated)
Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - to taste
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Oil - for frying
Kasuri methi - 1/2 teaspoon
Grated carrot or capsicum - 2 tablespoons
Pinch of baking soda - to make the cheela fluffy
Method:
First, put the gram flour in a bowl. Then, add turmeric, red chili, cumin seeds, salt, and ginger. Gradually add water to form a smooth batter. Be sure to ensure there are no lumps in the batter.
Now add onion, tomato, green chili, coriander, and the remaining vegetables. Mix the batter well. Its consistency should neither be too thin nor too thick.

Now, heat a non-stick or iron pan. Apply a little oil on it and spread it with paper.
After this, pour a ladle of batter on the pan and spread it gently in a circular shape. Drizzle some oil all around.
Bake on low to medium flame until one side turns golden, then turn and cook the other side.
Take the prepared cheela on a plate and serve hot with green chutney or tomato sauce.
