Apart from being a vegetable, gourd is used in making many recipes. Sometimes, even when they feel hungry during the day, some people want to eat only healthy food. If you are also one of them, then a gourd cutlet can be a perfect dish for you. To prepare it, gram flour, semolina, and spices are used along with gourd. It is very easy to make. You can prepare it in minutes. After eating this dish, no one will make a face at the name of the gourd. It will be liked by children as well as adults. Then whenever gourd comes to the house, its name will come out of everyone's mouth. Make every problem easy by following the method given by us.
Ingredients
Bottle gourd – 1
Gram flour – 1/2 cup
Rava – 3 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Dry mango powder – 3/4 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Chopped green chilli – 2
Chopped coriander – 3 tbsp
Ginger grated – 1/2 tsp.
Oil – for frying
Salt – as per taste
Method
- First of all, take the bottle gourd and peel it. After this grate the bottle gourd.
- Now put the grated bottle gourd in a vessel, add some salt, and mix it well.
- After some time when the bottle gourd leaves water, squeeze it and keep it in a mixing bowl. Now add semolina, and gram flour and mix it well.
- After this, add red chili powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, and garam masala to this mixture and mix and mash it.
- Now add finely chopped green chilies, green coriander, and dry mango powder to this mixture and mix.
- Now take the prepared stuffing in your palms make balls and press them to give them the shape of cutlets.
- After preparing cutlets with all the stuffing, heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add the cutlets and deep fry them.
- Fry the cutlets on medium flame by turning them until the cutlets become golden on both sides.
- After this, take them out in a plate. Now serve the tasty bottle gourd cutlets with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
