Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s upcoming horror-comedy, *Bhoot Bangla*, is all set to take theaters by storm on April 17. Following the tremendous response received by the film's trailer, a new update regarding the movie has now emerged. The Censor Board has granted the film a U/A 16+ certificate, subject to a few minor modifications. In fact, the film was submitted to the Censor Board on April 2, where the committee requested the removal of an objectionable word appearing at the 26-minute mark, along with some other minor edits.

Following these changes, the film received its final clearance on April 11. The film's runtime now stands at 2 hours, 44 minutes, and 52 seconds—approximately 10 minutes shorter than its original cut. Akshay's fans are now eagerly awaiting the release of this spooky yet entertaining film. Notably, this movie marks the return of the Priyadarshan-Akshay Kumar duo to the big screen after a hiatus of nearly 14 years.
