Ingredients

Beetroot - 1
Curd - 1 cup
Green chilli - 1-2
White sesame seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Curry leaves - 3-4
Black salt - according to taste
Roasted cumin seeds - half teaspoon
Oil - one teaspoon
Dry coconut - optional

Method

- Clean the beetroot thoroughly and grate it. Chop the green chilli finely.

- Beat the curd well in a bowl. Now add beetroot to it and mix.

- Add green chili. Heat oil in a pan. Add sesame seeds, mustard seeds, and curry leaves and fry.

- Cool it slightly and add it to the curd and beetroot mixture and mix. Now add roasted cumin powder.

- If you want, grate dry coconut and add a little on top. Beetroot Raita is ready.
