Noted screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad has revealed that he recently discussed a possible sequel to the 2015 hit film 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' with Salman Khan and shared the script of a new story with the actor. Vijayendra Prasad is also the father of producer SS Rajamouli and is known for writing the screenplay of major blockbusters like 'Baahubali' and 'RRR'.

Salman liked the concept.
Speaking to PTI, Vijayendra Prasad said, "I met Salman last Eid. I narrated a line to him, he liked it, but let's see what happens, so fans can expect a sequel announcement soon." Speculations about the film's sequel, Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2, are rife and recent updates suggest that work on the film is on the verge of starting.
Salman Khan has discussed the sequel several times.
Sources close to the matter have indicated that Salman Khan and Vijayendra Prasad have met several times and have reportedly prepared a strong screenplay, which could form the basis of the sequel. Earlier, Pinkvilla had reported that Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 has officially reached the development stage. Salman Khan recently met writer V. Vijayendra Prasad and the two discussed a potential idea. Which could take the form of the much-awaited sequel.

Waiting for the official seal
According to reports, talks are on between V. Vijayendra Prasad and director Kabir Khan about a possible collaboration, which suggests that the trio may come together again for the project. However, nothing has been confirmed yet. Directed by Kabir Khan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan stars Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and debutant Harshaali Malhotra in the lead roles. It is the story of a six-year-old mute Pakistani girl Shahida, who gets separated from her mother while returning from Delhi to Pakistan.
