Badaam Halwa: Make almond halwa in desi ghee, great for both taste and health..

Ghee has its importance in the Indian kitchen. When pure fresh Desi Ghee is added to any food, its taste doubles. If you also want to get the full benefit of ghee, then here we will teach you to make a delicious Badam Halwa recipe which is made using pure ghee.

Badam Halwa Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 - kg almonds
Sugar - 250 grams
Saffron - 5 leaves (soaked in a little milk)
Pistachio - 10 grams slivered
Almond - 10 grams slivered
Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Milk - 1/2 glass
Water - 1/2 glass
Flour - 2 teaspoons
Desi Ghee - 250 grams

Method of making Badam Halwa
First of all, soak the almonds in a bowl of water overnight. In the morning, strain it and remove their peel.
Grind the peeled almonds in a mixer grinder using milk. Remember that the almonds should be finely ground.

Take a deep pan, add ghee to it and heat it. Take a deep pan and add Gyan Shuddha Desi Ghee to it. Let it heat up.

When the ghee is hot, add two spoons of flour to it and cook it for some time.

When the flour is cooked, add ground almonds to it and keep stirring continuously.

When the almonds turn dark and are cooked, add sugar to it.

After adding sugar, keep adding water to it in small quantities. Keep in mind that do not add so much water that the halwa becomes thin. Do not add more water otherwise the halwa will become thin.

Let the halwa cook for some time while mixing it in the pan and then add the soaked saffron.

After adding saffron, cook the halwa by stirring continuously on medium flame.

Now finally add cardamom powder and mix well.

Lastly, take it out in a serving bowl and garnish it with almond flakes.

Now your hot almond halwa made with desi ghee is ready to serve.
