Anarse is a traditional sweet, which is especially made in North India. It is a delicious and crispy sweet prepared from rice flour and jaggery. Let's know its easy recipe.

Ingredients:

2 cups rice

1 cup jaggery

1 tbsp sesame seeds

2 tbsp milk

2 tbsp ghee

Oil or ghee for frying

Method:

Soaking rice: Soak rice in water for 8-10 hours or overnight.

Grinding rice: Drain water from rice and dry it slightly and then grind it finely in a mixer.

Melting jaggery: Add some water and jaggery in a pan and melt it on low flame. When the jaggery dissolves completely, cool it.

Preparing the dough: Add ground rice, sesame seeds, and some milk to the jaggery solution and knead the dough. Keep it covered for 4-5 hours.

Making anarse: Make small round-shaped tikkis from the dough and flatten them lightly.

Frying: Heat oil in a pan and fry anarse on medium flame till they turn golden brown.

Serving: Crispy and sweet anarse are ready. Let them cool and then serve.
These anarse stay fresh for 8-10 days, so you can enjoy them even after Holi.
