Laddus are very common and popular sweets all over India. Mostly they are made on a special occasion or to celebrate a festival. Laddus can be made in many ways. Laddus are delicious no matter what they are made of. All of them are known for their unique taste. Today we will tell you the recipe for almond laddus. These are mainly made using almonds and jaggery. They are very tasty and healthy. Let us tell you that almonds are rich in vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and proteins which are beneficial for the body. It has many benefits for skin and hair. It contains vitamin D. Eating it makes the brain sharp and bones strong.

Ingredients

Almonds – 1 cup

Dry coconut (grated) – 1 cup

Jaggery – ¾ cup

Cardamom powder – 1 tsp

Ghee – 2 tbsp

Cashews (chopped) – 10

Raisins – 2 tsp

Method

- First, dry roast 1 cup of almonds in a pan. Roast the almonds till they become crunchy and golden brown.

- Cool completely and transfer to a blender. Make a fine powder by doing it twice. Take it out in a large bowl and keep it aside.

- Now roast 1 cup dry coconut till it becomes golden. Add the roasted coconut to the blender along with ¾ cup jaggery.

- Make a coarse powder by doing it twice. Add it to the same bowl of almond powder. Also, add ¼ tsp cardamom powder and mix well.

- Now heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan and roast 10 cashews and 2 tbsp raisins. Roast the cashews till they turn golden brown.

- Add the roasted nuts to the laddu mixture. Mix well and make sure the mixture is moist.

- Apply ghee on your hands to grease them and start making laddus. You can store them in an airtight container.
