How much money is awarded for the Dadasaheb Phalke Award?
This year, Malayalam actor Mohanlal will be presented with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. This prestigious award includes a Golden Lotus medal, a shawl, and a cash prize of ₹1.5 million. Mohanlal will be honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award at the 71st National Film Awards 2023.

The 71st National Film Awards were announced at a press conference by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on August 1, 2025. The jury members for the awards include Mithun Chakraborty, Shankar Mahadevan, and Ashutosh Gowariker. The winners will be honored with these awards today at Vigyan Bhavan.
