*Jailer 2* – First-day earnings across all languages
According to reports from Sacnilk.com, *Jailer 2*—one of Rajinikanth’s biggest films—made a massive impact, raking in a net opening of ₹60 crore at the domestic box office. The makers released the film in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Given that Rajinikanth is a superstar in the Tamil film industry, the movie saw a spectacular opening in its regional language; it grossed ₹43.35 crore in Tamil on its first day. In the Telugu-speaking market, the film earned ₹12.50 crore, while the Hindi version brought in ₹3.50 crore.
In the Kannada-speaking market, the film earned ₹35 lakh. While the movie had a strong start, it failed to surpass the opening-day record set by *Drishyam 3* at the domestic box office, despite being released in five languages.
