5 Traditional Sweets For Raksha Bandhan: As soon as the festival season arrives, the markets get decorated. Especially if we talk about sweets, then the sweet shops get bustling with activity. Here we are going to give you the options of some such sweets, which will easily last for ten days. In such a situation, you can prepare them even before the festival of Raksha Bandhan. Sweets made at home will be free from adulteration, so there will be no risk of getting sick from eating them.
Coconut Barfi
To make it, you will need dry coconut, sugar, milk, and ghee. If you are making coconut barfi, then first of all, take ghee in a pan and heat it. Now put the coconut in it and fry it. When the coconut is roasted, add milk and sugar to it and mix well. You can also add cardamom and nuts to it for taste. After mixing all the things, put them out on a plate. When it cools down, cut it into pieces. It can be easily kept in the fridge for ten days.
Gram Flour Laddu
To make gram flour laddu, you will need gram flour, ghee, sugar, and cardamom. After taking all the things, first fry the gram flour in ghee on a low flame. After this, when the gram flour is properly fried, mix powdered sugar and cardamom in it. Now prepare laddus with this mixture. You can easily store it for two weeks.
Khoya Peda
It is quite easy to make khoya peda at home. To make it, you will need khoya, sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron. To make it, first fry the khoya in a pan on a low flame. When it is fried, add sugar to it and cook till it thickens. When it is cooked well, turn off the gas, cool the mixture, and then make pedas from it. These will also last for 5-7 days if kept in the fridge.
Son Papdi
Making Son Papdi is quite laborious, but it can be stored for a long time even without a fridge. To make it, you will need gram flour, sugar, ghee, milk, and cardamom. If you want to make Son Papdi at home, then first fry the gram flour in ghee. Now, make sugar syrup and mix it in the gram flour. After this, spread the mixture, cool it, and cut it.

Dry Fruit Laddu
If you want to prepare something different, then prepare dry fruit laddu. For this, first of all you will need ghee, gram flour, powdered sugar and nuts. To make it, first fry the gram flour in ghee. After the gram flour is well fried, add powdered sugar and nuts to it. Now prepare laddus from it. You can easily store this for ten days.
