According to the Railways, a weekly Summer Special train will be operated between Kanpur Central and SMVT Bengaluru, running via Prayagraj Junction. Train number 04131/04132 will run once a week from April to July 2026, providing passengers with improved connectivity and the facility of a comfortable journey.

Train number 04131 departs from Kanpur Central every Sunday at 4:30 PM and arrives at SMVT Bengaluru on Tuesday at 6:30 PM. This train will operate from April 5 to July 12 this year. Conversely, Train number 04132 departs from SMVT Bengaluru every Wednesday at 7:10 AM and reaches Kanpur Central on Friday at 3:45 AM. This train is scheduled to run between April 8 and July 15 this year.
