Green chilli (finely chopped) - 1 (optional)

Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 tbsp.

Method to make Lauki Raita:

Boil the bottle gourd:

1. Add a little salt to the grated bottle gourd and boil or steam it in water for 4-5 minutes.

2. Drain the water and squeeze it well so that the extra water comes out.

Prepare the curd:

1. Mix roasted cumin, black pepper, black salt, and finely chopped green chili if desired in the whipped curd.

Add the bottle gourd:

1. Now mix the squeezed bottle gourd well in the curd.
