Worshipping Lord Vishnu with proper rituals on this day helps overcome obstacles related to progeny and brings the joy of parenthood. Various measures are taken on this day to seek the special grace of Lord Vishnu.

Remedies for the joy of parenthood on Putrada Ekadashi

- Worshipping Lord Vishnu holds special importance on Putrada Ekadashi; it is believed that performing this worship with the prescribed rituals leads to the blessing of having children. On this day, worship the idol of Lord Vishnu by offering a conch shell, Tulsi leaves, and a sandalwood paste (chandan).

- On Putrada Ekadashi, offer water to the roots of a Peepal tree in the morning and light a lamp. Afterward, circumambulate the Peepal tree while chanting the mantra "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya" 108 times. This helps remove obstacles related to progeny.

- To ensure the well-being and happiness of children, donate yellow sweets, turmeric, split Bengal gram (chana dal), or bananas to a Brahmin or a needy person on Putrada Ekadashi. This enhances the child's happiness and good fortune and helps alleviate their suffering.

- Chanting mantras dedicated to Lord Vishnu is highly recommended on Putrada Ekadashi to seek the blessing of children. Chant the mantra: "Om Devakisuta Govinda Vasudeva Jagatpate | Dehi Me Tanayam Krishna Tvamaham Sharanam Gatah ||" Chanting this mantra is considered a highly effective remedy for those wishing to have children.

- On the evening of Putrada Ekadashi, light a lamp filled with sesame oil beneath a Banyan tree and recite the Vishnu Chalisa. This practice is extremely fruitful for ensuring the longevity and protection of one's children.
