There is a great deal of excitement among audiences regarding the film 'Ramayana'. The cast is also actively involved in large-scale promotions for the project. Now, ahead of its release, significant information has emerged regarding the film's runtime. Here is the latest update.

How long will the film be?
The film received its censor certificate on October 30, 2026. The Hindi version of 'Ramayana' has been granted a 'U' certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Notably, the total runtime of the film will be 3 hours and 15 minutes—meaning audiences will need to set aside about three and a half hours to watch 'Ramayana' on the big screen.
Following the recent superhit film 'Dhurandhar 2', which had a runtime of 3 hours and 49 minutes, 'Ramayana' now joins the ranks of Bollywood's longest films. Significantly, despite its substantial length, the film is set to have a follow-up; it will be released in two parts.
What will be special about the post-credits scene?
Along with the film's runtime and censor certification, there is also considerable curiosity surrounding its post-credits scene. It is suggested that the post-credits sequence may offer a glimpse into the next installment of the film.
Some reports also indicate that the much-anticipated look of Hanuman might be revealed during the post-credits scene. Consequently, audiences will be keen to see what awaits them once the film concludes.

When will the film be released?
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, 'Ramayana' is produced by Prime Focus Studios and Yash’s 'Monster Mind Creations'.
The cast includes Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi, alongside Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Anupam Kher, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, and Vivek Oberoi. 'Ramayana: Part One' will be released in cinemas worldwide on November 5, 2026, in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Meanwhile, the next part of the film is expected to be released around Diwali next year.
