PM Kisan: Has your name been removed from the PM Kisan Yojana? Check the list online now...

PM Kisan Yojana 22nd Installment: Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, farmers receive ₹6,000 annually in three installments. The 22nd installment for 2026 is now approaching. However, the 21st installment was credited to farmers' accounts on November 19, 2025, and now the 22nd installment is awaited. The Agriculture Ministry has made all preparations, and the payment process is ready. According to media reports, the 22nd installment may be released before Holi, but before the installment is released, the names of millions of farmers have been removed from the list. Let us tell you if your name has also been removed from the list and why the government is removing farmers' names.

Millions of farmers' names removed
Just before the release of the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana, the central government has begun re-verifying beneficiaries' documents. This investigation found that millions of farmers did not follow the scheme's rules, and therefore, their names have been removed from the beneficiary list.

If you are also receiving the annual ₹6,000 benefit under this scheme, it is very important for you to ensure that your name is still on the beneficiary list. The government is taking this step to ensure that the scheme's funds reach only those small and marginal farmers who are truly eligible.

Why are names being removed from the list?
The government's investigation has revealed two major reasons for removing farmers' names: errors or ambiguities in land documents and violations of family-related rules. Changes have been found in the land records of many farmers. In some cases, land ownership was unclear. According to the government's new rules, the documents of farmers whose land was registered after February 1, 2019, are being re-examined. If correct and clear documents are not received within the stipulated time, their names are immediately removed from the list.

Violation of Family Rules
Under this scheme, only one person in a family can receive money. Family means husband, wife, and minor children. Investigations have revealed several cases where both husband and wife were receiving separate installments. Such cases have been considered fraudulent. The government has stopped their installments and, if proven wrong, is preparing to take back all previously received installments.
