Need relief from dry, cracked lips? This homemade lip scrub will provide instant relief and remove dead skin..

In winter, dry air and a lack of moisture in the environment are the first to affect the lips. They become dull, rough, and flaky. Sometimes, they even feel burning and pain, making it difficult to apply lipstick. If your lips don't soften even after repeated applications of lip balm, it's a sign that they need not only moisturizing but also exfoliation. In this situation, opting for a homemade natural lip scrub instead of commercially available chemical products can be a better option. This scrub not only removes dead skin but also gives your lips a soft, pink, and healthy look. The good thing is that it's very easy to make and the effects are visible the very first time.

Required Ingredients for a Homemade Lip Scrub

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon shea butter

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1 1/2 tablespoons beeswax

5–6 drops of vitamin E oil

7–8 drops lavender oil

Why are these ingredients beneficial for your lips?
Brown sugar acts as a natural exfoliator, removing flakes and dead skin from the lips without damaging them. Shea butter deeply nourishes the lips and provides long-lasting moisture. Coconut oil soothes dryness and prevents chapped lips. Beeswax forms a light protective layer on the lips, locking in moisture. Vitamin E oil repairs the lips, helps reduce dark spots, and enhances their natural glow. Lavender oil not only adds fragrance but also relaxes and softens the lips.

How to make and use a lip scrub?

First, put the beeswax in a bowl and melt it over low heat.

Add the shea butter and stir thoroughly, allowing it to melt completely.

Add the coconut oil and heat the mixture until smooth.

Remove from heat and add vitamin E oil and lavender oil.

When the mixture cools slightly and thickens, add the brown sugar and mix thoroughly.

Pour the prepared mixture into a clean container. Once completely set, the lip scrub is ready to use.

Gently massage your lips with this homemade lip scrub 2-3 times a week, then rinse with lukewarm water. Regular use will remove flakes, dead skin, and leave lips feeling soft, smooth, and beautiful again.
