Kiara Advani’s look in her upcoming film, *Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups*, is garnering immense appreciation. Ever since the actress's look was unveiled, there has been a palpable buzz and excitement among fans regarding the film. In a recent interview, Kiara Advani opened up about her role in the movie.

Speaking to the *Bombay Times*, Kiara Advani revealed that the filmmakers issued strict instructions to her while on the sets of *Toxic*. She was not permitted to speak to anyone. Director Geetu Mohandas explicitly told the actress not to exchange even a casual "hi" or "hello" with anyone on set.
Kiara Advani noted that she typically greets everyone present on a film set. It is her habit to arrive early in the morning and greet the crew; however, on the sets of *Toxic*, the filmmakers had expressly forbidden her from interacting with people.
The actress explained that Geetu Mohandas instructed her not to engage in any form of conversation with anyone on the days they were shooting. She added that the director even forbade her from exchanging basic pleasantries like "hi" or "hello." According to Kiara, this approach was novel to her, but it ultimately helped her delve deeper into the nuances of her character.
Kiara also admitted that this film was one of the most challenging projects of her career. The primary reason for this was the language barrier. For the first time, the actress worked in the Kannada film industry and delivered her dialogues in Kannada.
She shared that several scenes in the film were shot in both Kannada and English. Typically, the English version of a scene would be filmed first, followed by a reshoot of the exact same scene in Kannada. She mentioned that, as she did not know Kannada, she had to spend her evenings memorizing her dialogues in the language for the following day's shoot.
Despite the linguistic challenges, Kiara stated that her experience working in the Kannada film industry was overwhelmingly positive. She noted that the work culture and environment there are quite similar to those of the Hindi and Telugu film industries. According to him, while certain cultural differences are indeed evident across the various languages of Indian cinema, the spirit of collaboration and camaraderie among artists and technical teams feels consistent everywhere.

‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ was filmed in Kannada and English. The film is slated to be released in several languages. Starring Yash, this grand Pan-India film will be released in multiple languages, including English and Hindi.
